ABOUT THE SPEAKER: 

Donna Causin is a Risk Consultant for HUB International’s Risk Services Division, Central and Northern California Region. She is currently located in Sacramento, CA.

Prior to joining HUB, Donna has gained over 4 years of work experience in different sides of the healthcare industry. In college, she earned her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She has worked in hospitals and various skilled nursing facilities assisting in general care and physical therapy. She has worked for the Health Education Council as a community health educator.

In her current role, Donna provides consultation with clients to help them understand their safety and risk needs and objectives, advises clients on best practices and analyzes losses to identify trends. She also has experience with reviewing and advising on written OSHA compliant safety/risk programs, providing and/or coordinating training and performing compliance audits and risk assessments for HUB clients. Donna is an excellent trainer and can also provided industrial hygiene consultation and services to clients. In her role she helps foster relationships between clients and carrier loss control personnel while providing oversight of all carrier loss control activities.

Currently, Donna is a member of  the American Society of Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM) and the American Society of Safety Professionals. She has also earned her designation in Associate Risk Management and other national and regional safety and healthcare organizations that support the general and healthcare industries. She can also speak Visayan (Filipino).
