About SMGMA
SMGMA has become a strong, well organized, rapidly growing group. Due to the quality of our programs and the enthusiasm of our membership, we currently have one of the largest memberships in the state.
Our goals are:
- Sharing information through group networking
- Educational programs that meet the needs of all medical offices, from solo practice to multi-specialty large groups
- Helping our area leaders improve the quality of their practices and their ability to lead them
- Staying on top of the latest trends and regulations in healthcare
- Providing access to information and resources to help keep practice costs down while improving services
We meet monthly early in the morning so that our members can attend the programs and still be at the office for normal business following the meetings. The location of our meetings depends on our topic and anticipated group size. Meetings are generally held on the second Wednesday of the month. In the event of a meeting date falling in a holiday week the meeting will occur the following week. Please see the schedule below for topics and locations.
If you have questions or suggestions for programs that will benefit you, your physicians and / or your practice operations, please do not hesitate to contact us. Additionally, if you have attended a program or workshop and would recommend the program or speaker, we would appreciate hearing from you. We are always looking for good topics and speakers to share with our membership.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
ACMPE Continuing Education
A strong benefit for these education programs is that they may be eligible for the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) continuing education requirements. If you are a member of the ACMPE you can complete your “Generic Credit Hours Form” and submit to the ACMPE. Sponsorship & Vendor Faire Opportunities
You can become a featured sponsor at our meetings. This provides your company an outstanding marketing opportunity to reach more people in one setting. We look forward to partnering with our sponsors for support and business opportunities that will benefit all of us…our membership as well as your company. For more information, contact a Board member listed above.
